Packaging and Point-of-sale
Making sure your products get noticed.
Your packaging is at the front line of your product marketing campaign - the shop shelf. In the thick of the battle for the consumer's attention, your product packaging carries your brand message and crucial product information. It will be a visual identifier and reassurance to your regular customers and the deciding factor for potential new purchasers.
Point-of-sale provides the reinforcements for your product packaging. There are many effective point-of-sale devices including display shippers which can serve as private shelf-space, keeping your products in order and attracting shoppers’ attention.

Case Studies:
Zapbat™
The Zapbat™ is the latest product offering from Caterpillars Trading Ltd, a company specialising in manufacturing, sourcing and distributing products for the retail garden centre sector.
The Zapbat™ is an insect pest control device with an element of fun. The bat consists of an electrified mesh which makes for a cleaner and more effective fly swat.
Although effective, the intention was that the Zapbat wasn’t to be taken too seriously but would make a great talking piece around the summer barbecue. In response to the client brief, Cogent Media developed a vibrant product logo, with consistent packaging and promotional support materials, and a product website.
With a warm response from the National press, the Zapbat™ is on sale now in the UK, Europe and Australia.
